oil on canvas

h: 25 w: 120 d: 3 (cms).

A complex image in which a lightly-clad figure walks barefoot through a moonlit garden full of symbols that have emotional meaning for her; some are felicitous and at least one is infused with tragedy. She is looking, not at her destination, but, with affection, at somebody outside the picture; the viewer? During enforced isolation, prisoners have been known to keep themselves sane by constructing and traversing such mind-scapes.

Oil paint on re-cycled panel

h: 169 w: 122 d: 3 (cms).

Allegorical panel prefiguring an outcome to the ostensibly beneficial infatuation with Oil. The hooded figure is central to nearly all works in the ongoing Enigma Series.
