Handmade Charcoal, compressed charcoal, white chalk and conte

h: 91 w: 116 d: 2 (cms).

Charcoal drawing of the Ancient Tree, the Widey Oak, in Widey Woods Plymouth, which I miss greatly during lockdown and is at least 500 years old and an outstanding example of steadfastness through thick and thin. The drawing was done from composite photos and sketches made on site. Each section / drawing was done separately, dry mounted then collaged back together for the final image. Black frame.
