This is one of a series of pieces I made during lockdown which focused on a growing sense of isolation, not only from family and friends, but also from our everyday lives and everything which constituted normality. Having to wear masks felt like a metaphor for the stifling feeling of a world which seemed to be shrinking and closing in.
