Printmaking In traditional mediums is my current passion and my work focuses on where the landscapes, water and sky meet. My portfolio of work traces my travels both at home and abroad, and evokes memories of those times spent with loved ones in the places we cherished. Working from my sketches and photographs then leads me to planning my response through the most appropriate print medium. The light and reflections are important in my work and capturing this on paper is always a challenge with each printing plate taking many hours to develop what becomes the final print.

I have been working as a full time artist since retiring from the local government cultural sector in 2015. I am predominantly self taught but have completed NVQ 1-3 in printmaking and further developed my practice attending workshops with the best printmakers in the south west. I work as part of the Tamar Valley Print Workshop in developing my traditional etching technique.

I have exhibited widely in the South West in galleries, society exhibitions and through open studio events.I deliver regular courses and workshops for beginners and intermediate printmaking techniques across Devon and Cornwall. I am currently exhibiting at the RWA open exhibition in Bristol and at Devon Open Studios.
